HIGH TEA BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

20:39:00

For my friend Madi's 16th Birthday, she had this amazing high tea. It had so many amazing (and different might I add) foods that would have taken me multiple attempts in the kitchen to even try and get the slightest bit right. As soon as the food came out all you could hear was 'oohs' and 'ahhs' from how amazing it all looked. The whole time my friends and I sat and ate and giggled to our hearts content until all we wanted to do was just lay back and fall asleep.

But to be honest, this was not the case because afterwards we headed straight back to the hotel to go for and swim and slide down the dangerous water slides (my friend Riley, the one who is taking a selfie with me down below, hit her shoulder on the side of the slide and bounced back and fourth like a ping pong ball. It was kinda funny but afterwards she had a massive red mark on the side of her arm :/ ) The experience was fun but the pool with the water slides was NOT heated and even though it's winter in Australia and the weather doesn't get that cold compared to other countries but the water definitely does. As soon as you plunged into the icy water your immediate reaction was to get straight out. However we managed to go few times, each screaming our heads off on the way down.

*Story to add*

At about 9:30 that night, Madi had invited myself, Riley and my other friend Mya to stay the night at the hotel. We had all decided to go down and have a quick night swim as the pool closed at about 10:30. We headed down thinking it was a great idea and was going to be so much fun until the elevator door opened and all you felt was a freezing cold breeze come from the lobby. All we had on was out bathing suits and a towel wrapped around us so we were pretty much freezing. As we went with chattering teeth to put our stuff down, we all decided to jump in the pool (THE NOT HEATED ONE) just for fun. It didn't look too bad, but, pools can be deceiving. Riley was not keen so she stayed and watched. We finally all jumped and had to swim about 8 meters to get to the steps and out of the pool. Let me just say, the pool had definitely gotten colder from before. So cold that when you got out, the air actually felt warm, but it wasn't. We ran back around to where Riley was standing filled with adrenaline because it was such a rush and actually quite fun. We discussed it for about 20 seconds maybe until silly me brings up the point that we didn't film it. Of course if we told our friends they totally wouldn't believe us so we did it again. Yep. >_<

Thank you all so much for reading and I hoped you enjoyed. I would really love to start documenting my life more and doing more fun little posts like this because it is something to look back on, and that is one of the main reasons I started this blog in the first place. Don't forget to share and comment down below and have a wonderful day! Byeeeeeeee!
